Position Title: Assistant Spirit Club Manager


Reports To: Executive Player Development Manager


Supervises: Spirit Club Representatives


Summary:


The Assistant Spirit Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Spirit Club at both casino locations. This role involves a range of duties focused on ensuring efficient club management, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the overall objectives of the casino. The Assistant Manager of the Apache Spirit Club should be available to assume shift coverage responsibilities whenever other supervisors and representatives are unable to do so.


Key responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, supporting marketing initiatives, and enhancing growth in new member registrations and email subscriptions. The Assistant Manager also provides support for front desk team members, event hosts, promotional activities, and special events as required. This position necessitates a solid understanding of hospitality standards and technical proficiency with systems such as the Player Tracking Database, Promotion Kiosks, and Microsoft Office Suite.


The Assistant Manager is expected to demonstrate exemplary conduct, maintain a strong presence on the casino floor, and proactively identify opportunities for operational enhancements. They should have a thorough understanding of the Spirit Club's tier levels, associated benefits, monthly promotions, and VIP events. Furthermore, they are responsible for ensuring that all club staff are well-informed, effectively engaged, and held accountable for their responsibilities.


Excellent guest service, interpersonal, communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills are essential. The Assistant Manager must adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. They should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work collaboratively with team members at all levels, and respond calmly to customer demands in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership:

+ Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

+ Model hospitality behaviors and maintain high visibility on the casino floor.

+ Achieve individual, team, and departmental goals.

+ Collaborate with the Executive Player Development Manager & Executive Casino Host to ensure seamless guest experience across all touchpoints.

+ Foster a culture of hospitality and ensure all team members are trained in conflict resolution and guest satisfaction techniques.

+ Implement service recovery strategies to address and resolve guest complaints efficiently.

+ Proactively engage with guests to understand their needs and provide personalized service.

+ Monitor guest feedback and identify trends to improve delivery services.

  • Operations:

+ Understand the Spirit Club levels and benefits.

+ Stay informed about monthly promotions and events.

+ Ensure staff are knowledgeable about promotions and mailers.

+ Maintain and update customer records.

+ Assist with special events and promotions.

+ Resolve customer issues and provide excellent guest service.

  • Technical Skills:

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Player Tracking systems, Super Playmate, OASIS, and Promotion Kiosks.

+ Handle equipment such as computers, telephones, copiers, and fax machines.

  • Supervisory Duties:

+ Train and schedule staff.

+ Attend meetings and communicate relevant information to the team.

+ Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.

+ Other duties as assigned for the success of the company.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED, or two years of related experience.
  • Preferably bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a casino environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Physical ability to move around the casino floor and handle customer demands.
  • Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Valid NM Driver�s License


Physical Demands:


  • Frequent walking and sitting; occasionally stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.


Work Environment:


  • Loud noise levels and exposure to second-hand smoke.
