Obtain patient histories and perform physical exams
Interpret x-ray and advanced imaging findings
Establish diagnoses and treatment plans
Document notes in EHR
Perform and assist with clinical procedures such as injections and casting
Order appropriate laboratory or diagnostic tests
Handle phone calls from patients
Call in orders to the hospital for patients
Assist with paperwork and forms required by patients
Arrive before scheduled cases to identify patients, help with positioning, and ensure all instruments are ready
Assist the surgeon during procedures
Assist with wound closures, fitting of braces or casts, post-op orders, and transferring patients to the post-op area
Make hospital rounds as required
Be on call for emergencies after hours and weekends if needed
PA license in the state of California
Passionate about orthopaedic surgery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work closely with surgeons and other medical staff
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in Korean is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
