We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Plastic Surgery team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients, working collaboratively with our surgeon. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication and surgical skills. The Physician Assistant will be involved in various aspects of patient management, including Plastic Surgery procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assist in surgery procedures in office and hospital setting
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide senior care services.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records (MDS).
- Educate patients on peri and post-operative care
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of clinical practices, procedures, and protocols.
- Experience in Surgery - preferably Plastic Surgery
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in Plastic Surgery.
