The main job of a Physical Therapy Assistant (in an outpatient setting) is to help with physical therapy treatments. This work is done under the guidance and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist. The Assistant will help patients by using different therapy methods and exercises based on what they need and what is planned for their treatment. The Assistant should also know what they can and cannot do in their role. It is important for the Assistant to keep the therapy area clean and organized. They will also need to write down important information about each patient’s treatment and progress.


The patients can be from different age groups, including babies, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors.


Requirements:
  • Must hold a permanent license or a temporary permit as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Oklahoma while waiting for the permanent license. (This is necessary.)
  • Must have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (This is necessary.)
  • We welcome new graduates!
