- Conduct individual therapy sessions for pediatric clients with communication disorders.
- Employ diverse modalities, including articulation therapy, language intervention, fluency therapy, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
- Monitor clients progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing progress updates, recommendations for home-based activities, and addressing any concerns.
- Document daily progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with DPTS policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain confidential client records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Valid Maryland SLPA license
- Experience working with children or adolescents with speech and language disorders, preferably in a clinic or home setting.
- Strong knowledge of various communication disorders, assessment tools, and therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and using relevant technology/software.
- Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical, evidence-based practices.
- Bilingual SLP-A's are encouraged to apply but is not required.
