PAYROLL & FINANCIAL SERVICES

Park Manor is a 100% employee-owned Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Facility located in Park Falls, nestled in the heart of the Northwoods. It is Park Manor’s mission to provide excellent quality care in an atmosphere of compassion, hospitality, and respect for the dignity of each person.

We are seeking to fill a Payroll & Finance Services position with a detail-oriented and dependable person to support our finance and front office operations on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is organized, works well within a team environment, and can effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities:

Payroll Duties:

  • Process and submit bi-weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations and status changes as related to payroll and benefits
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, benefit and tax information
  • Coordinate with HR and department managers to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with payroll audits and reporting as needed


Financial Services:

  • Online banking coordination
  • Cash management
  • Audit preparation


Resident Petty Cash & Patient Trust:

  • Manage and reconcile resident petty cash and patient trust accounts
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of transactions
  • Distribute funds to residents or responsible parties as authorized
  • Prepare reports and balances for monthly reconciliation


Reception coverage:

  • Provide front desk coverage, including answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and general administrative tasks
  • Support other office staff during absences or peak periods


Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in payroll processing (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of financial recordkeeping and cash handling procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); payroll software experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills


Job Summary:

1 Opening

Full-time 5 days/week M-F 8:00 A.M. TO 4:30 P.M. with flexibility as needed

Base wage to be determined based qualification and prior experience.
