The University Police Department is a State of Montana accredited law enforcement agency. In addition, the University Police Department serves as the fire and public safety office for the university.* Patrol Officers serve as members of the departments’ patrol operations team. Patrol Officers shall follow directives put forth by department leadership and university management, taking personal ownership for the success of the department and university.
