Patient Services Rep

Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, the primary focus of this position is to coordinate and facilitate our patients' visit to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided. You are their first and last point of contact for all visits. This role will be working independently as part of a smaller team so you must be strong and confident in that environment. This role requires individuals to be self motivated, have a high-level of empathy and be able to problem solve efficiently.

Greet and welcome all patients upon arrival

Check them in, verify personal information (name, address, insurance)

Must be detail oriented and able to multitask

Be an advocate for our patients as well as our practice

Take and balance copays and batches

Maintain a clean and organized work station

Maintain a current understanding of insurances

Process mail, faxes and scans

High level of luxury customer service skills

Exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations

Maintain a current understanding of the company's systems (NextGen, NexTech, etc)

Must be a positive, professional team player

This role operates in a professional medical front office routinely using standard office equipment such as computers and telephones.

#

This role requires periods of time sitting at a desk using office equipment as well as moving around the practice. Position may require lifting objects up to 50Ibs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time non-exempt position, 40 hours/week. Schedule is a variation of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (Start and end times vary depending on the start and end of clinic)

Our organization has multiple locations and although this position will be based where you are hired, travel may be involved as necessary.

Luxury Service or Retail Industry experience is helpful

Healthcare industry experience is helpful
