Responsibilities:

• Responsible for scheduling assignments in an efficient and coordinated manner in compliance with departmental scheduling guidelines and territory assignments.
  
• Retrieves voice mail messages including call-offs, visit statistics, changes in staff�s schedules, etc. Processes messages accordingly and reports information to Scheduling and/or Clinical Manager as appropriate.
  
• Prepares, retrieves and prints charts as necessary for scheduling assignments.
  
• Prepares and maintains scheduling books/scheduling calendars per scheduling guidelines
  
• Maintains accurate and complete staffing log with current information in the scheduling database.
  
• Verifies accuracy of patient information and patient availability for home visits. Communicates scheduled appointments and staff assignments to patients.
  
• Ensures assignments support productivity standards
  
• Maintains appropriate communication with Scheduling and/or Clinical Manager regarding scheduling problems and other patient related matters
  
• Enters data into EMR to maintain accuracy of clinical information.
  
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  
• Proficient with Microsoft applications - excel, outlook and office.
  
• Experience working as part of a team and working effectively with persons and communities from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds. The ability to work in a complex institutional structure requiring significant collaboration.
  
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
  
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, within strict time parameters, and with a strong attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  

• Prior experience in home care and healthcare staff scheduling preferred
  

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $33,280.00 to USD $87,500.08. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
