We are seeking a Patient Safety Attendant for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? The Patient Safety Attendant is responsible for providing 1:1 monitoring with continuous visual observation (either in person or on a video monitor) with the patient. The Patient Sitter functions under the supervision of a first line supervisor and performs delegated functions. The primarily responsibility of this position is to remain with the patient and assure his/her safety. This includes monitoring patients in person or remotely who are "High Risk for Falls" and/or risk of injury to self or others. The focus of the role is to observe for change(s) in patient condition and notify nursing staff when appropriate.

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
  
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
  
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
  
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
  
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork
  

• BLS certified. If not BLS certified, must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  
• High School Graduate / GED
  
• 18+ years old
