Job Summary

The Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in the supply chain and inventory management processes within our organization. This position is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing parts and supplies necessary for Snowmobile repair and service operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in snowmobile diagnostics, ensuring that all parts meet quality standards and are delivered in a timely manner to support our service teams.


Duties


  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of automotive parts and supplies.
  • Utilize BOSS WEB and IDEAL systems for effective inventory control and procurement management.
  • Conduct demand planning to forecast inventory needs based on service department requirements.
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate data entry records for all transactions related to parts procurement and inventory management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries regarding parts availability and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure alignment between supply chain needs and production schedules.
  • Support service technicians by providing timely access to required parts for repairs.


Skills


  • Proficiency in supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Strong supplier management skills with experience in negotiation and sourcing.
  • Knowledge of Snowmobile diagnostics and repair processes.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and practices.
  • Experience with BOSSWEB and IDEAL is beneficial.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to Snowmobiles is essential.
  • Experience in logistics, shipping & receiving, and order management systems is preferred.
  • Dealership experience or familiarity with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts is a plus.
  • This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $18.00 per hour


Expected hours: 40 per week
