This position is responsible for the selling of parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and by placing special orders for our customers. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions.
Responsibilities:* Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.- Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
- Verifies receipting-in or shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
- Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
- Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager.
- Assists in maintaining all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.
- Shall be able to multitask while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Required to participate in branch and company on call schedules.
- Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to work with a team or independently.
- Maintain a professional demeanor to ensure that the highest level of customer experience is attained.
- On occasion when deemed necessary deliver parts to customers utilizing company vehicle.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Expected to participate in occasional monthly branch and company on call schedules
- Experience with electronic parts catalogs preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's license.
The starting hourly rate is $20 - $24 per hour and will be determined based on experience.
