We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic
Part-Time PE Teacher to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education sessions to children in a Montessori setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting physical growth and wellness in a respectful, child-centered environment.- Experience working with young children, preferably in a Montessori or alternative education setting
- Background in physical education, child development, or youth coaching
- Understanding of or interest in Montessori principles and practices
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass a background check
- Professional, punctual, and positive with strong communication skills
- Hours: 4 hours per week during school hours
- Compensation: $25 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead PE activities aligned with Montessori principles and child development best practices

- Promote fitness, gross motor skills, coordination, and cooperative play

- Foster a calm, safe, and inclusive learning space where all children can succeed
*
- Set up and take down equipment; maintain equipment care
*
- Observe and informally assess student participation and engagement
*
- Collaborate with Montessori guides (teachers) and school leadership as needed
