Salary/Position Classification


  • $10,000 contract, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5-12 hours per week
  • This position will work onsite.


Purpose of Position


The purpose of this position is to provide effective teaching in the area of Juvenile Law at the University of North Dakota School of Law.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Effective teaching in the area of Juvenile Law.


Required Competencies


  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff colleagues
  • Eagerness to work closely with law students
  • Ability to teach in the curricular area of interest
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a diverse, multicultural, and inclusive setting


Minimum Requirements


  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed member in good standing of the bar in any U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction
  • At least 3 years of recent legal work experience in the area of Juvenile Law
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
