Job Summary

Under the direction of the Site Administrator, serve as a liaison between the district personnel, students, parents, community and public agencies; may perform supplementary paraprofessional duties in the areas of attendance, discipline and health; coordinate and conduct various community engagement activities to support the academic achievement of students; communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English and Spanish.

  • District organization, operations, regulations, policies and objectives related to position.
  • Diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of students.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Operation of a variety of office equipment, a computer and assigned software.


Education and Experience:


  • Any combination equivalent to: Associate�s degree in education, social service, behavioral science or related field and two years of experience working with culturally diverse school age youth, their parents and the community or as a primary communicator/coordinator for an organization.


Licenses and other Requirements:


  • Valid Class C California Driver's License.
  • Incumbents in this classification are required to speak, read and write in English and Spanish or target language.


Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $22.12 - $24.37 per hour
