Job Overview:


We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and sandblasting and must have a keen eye for detail to deliver high-quality finishes. The painter will be responsible for mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces, completing touch-ups, and coordinating large painting projects.


Responsiblities


  • Promote and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Clean, sand, grind, buff, and mask surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.
  • Apply paint to structural steel surfaces using a paint sprayer or paint gun.
  • Sandblasting.
  • Mix and match colors.
  • Ensure the quality of the painted finish meets company standards.
  • Scan parts for tracking purposes.
  • Follow all safety regulations and wear the appropriate PPE.
  • Manage paint, solvent and other material inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained.


Required Skills


  • Strong understanding of industrial painting techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Experience with sandblasting.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various positions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Knowledge and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and ensure the final product meets quality standards.
  • Read and interpret documents, including operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
  • Operate a forklift in accordance with manufacturer's and Company policies.
  • Operate a crane in accordance with the manufacturer's and Company policies.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Take reasonable care of yourself and others� health and safety, and those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role.


Experience

High school diploma or GED - Strong attention to detail.

One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour


Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
