I am opening a new packing/shipping company behind the north shops off of N 169 hwy and I-29, and am looking for a part-time employee. We will be shipping through UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL. We will also offer printing services, PO boxes, notorizing, and other personal and business needs.
The ideal candidate needs to be outgoing, energetic, and most importantly, customer service-friendly. My business model will solely be based on high quality customer service, and I need a shining star that understands that and has the ability to greet every customer with a smile, no matter how bad their day might be going.
My goal is to be open by Mid-September, but it could be October 1st, depending on how fast construction gets finished. Your hours will be set at 20 to 25 a week and will start at $21 an hour, and I will be putting together an incentive program for the right person. That means more money!
I will be getting trainined on the POS system as soon as it gets installed, and it would be ideal if the person I hire is there for that, too.
Keep in mind that this person could easily be moving to full-time, and even a possible management position down the road with a proven track record, and the amount of business warrants the position.
This person will also need to have the ability to lift heavy boxes on a daily basis that customers bring in to ship, so please keep that in mind.
