Our marketing and advertising firm needs a talented, experienced, and successful appointment setter. We seek a business development professional with a hunter mentality and a proven track record of getting through gatekeepers, reaching decision-makers, and articulating value with every conversation. The appointment setter will be responsible for identifying potential clients through an existing pipeline, reaching them on the phone, and scheduling an appointment for a discovery call with an agency marketing consultant. If you enjoy talking to people and are interested in sales, this position is ideal for you. Part of this role also includes assisting the team with clerical tasks, phone answering, cleaning and office work as needed. This role is a crucial role in supporting our office team, keeping our office a neat and tidy place to work, and acts as the front line for clients that call our organization and visit.


Responsibilities


Below are some of the responsibilities an appointment setter is expected to assume:


  • Set qualified appointments for the Marketing Consultant team.
  • 400+ outbound calls per week.
  • Ensure each prospective client and potential customer has a positive experience with our company.
  • Take the initiative to learn about the company and grow within the role.
  • Develop and distribute reports of each day�s call volume and set appointments.
  • Properly articulate the agency�s value proposition to prospective customers when making appointments.
  • Complete required call sheets and/or CRM input each day.
  • Answer phones, greet clients, take messages, and transfer calls to staff colleagues.
  • Return client phone calls
  • Smile and greet guests as they enter the office building
  • Paperwork and document filing tasks as needed
  • Office organizational tasks as needed
  • Office cleaning tasks needed
  • Retrieve and send mail
  • Juggling multiple tasks at one time
  • Juggling multiple priorities at one time and simultaneously

  • Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team


Job Qualifications and Skill Sets


Below are the qualifications and skills that are expected of an appointment setter:


  • 1+ years experience in an appointment setting or a business development sales role.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
  • Minimum high school diploma, some college preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • A positive attitude.
  • A pleasant speaking voice when engaging with prospects and customers
  • Experience and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organization skills.


Compensation:


$14-16 per hour, plus bonus for hitting and exceeding appointment setting goals.


NOT Remote. Must be in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.
