We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontics and be dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. You will be responsible for diagnosing dental and facial irregularities, developing treatment plans, and applying corrective appliances to align teeth and jaws. Your expertise will help improve patients' oral health and enhance their smiles.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose orthodontic issues.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Utilize advanced techniques in orthodontics, including braces, retainers, and other dental appliances.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment execution.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Stay current with advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding oral hygiene practices and treatment options.
- Manage the orthodontic clinic environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
- Proficiency in root canal therapy, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication is preferred.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for patient management is advantageous.
- Strong skills in medical imaging for diagnostic purposes.
- Experience working in a pediatric dental clinic is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain detailed medical documentation for all procedures performed.
