Position: Temporary/Locum Orthodontist (Mid‑March to Mid‑June 2026)

Empire Dental offers specialty care in Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, and Oral Surgery at its two Ohio locations. Their orthodontic practice-led by board-certified specialists-uses modern, patient‑focused treatment methods and technologies. Empire Orthodontics provides care to adolescents and adults with options including traditional braces and clear aligners like Invisalign.

Contract Details & Schedule


  • Duration: Approximately 3 months, from mid‑March through mid‑June 2026
  • Coverage at both Beavercreek and West Chester offices as needed
  • Typical clinic hours: Mon-Thu 8 AM-5 PM; Fri 8 AM-2 PM

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities


  • Evaluate and diagnose malocclusions in adolescent and adult patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide traditional braces and Invisalign/clear‑aligner therapy
  • Monitor treatment progress, make adjustments, and manage retention protocols
  • Collaborate with dental specialists across fields (e.g. oral surgery, endo) for integrated care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient communication
  • Ensure high standards for patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced setting


Qualifications:

Requirements & Qualifications


  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Completed CODA-accredited advanced orthodontic residency (2-3 years)
  • Board‑certified or board‑eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics preferred
  • Valid Ohio dental license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience with traditional braces and Invisalign systems
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with orthodontic records (digital models, radiographs, impressions)
  • Excellent patient communication skills; comfortable treating both pediatric/teen and adult patients
  • Collaborative team player with flexible availability to support both offices
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) a plus

USD 1,500 - 1,700 /daily
