Our orthodontic team is seeking a dedicated and skilled candidate who values providing exceptional patient care. The individual will assist the doctor in delivering high-quality treatment and should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position would be ideal for someone who is detailed and can think quickly on their feet. - Assist orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct chairside assisting duties, including four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices within a clinical environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages.
