Optometry office seeking to hire a full time staff member for an Optometric Technician position. Previous experience in an optometry or medical office helpful, but not required. Applicant needs good communication skills (verbal, written) and organizational skills; Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities; ability to multitask and MUST be a great team player and capable of working well with others; college degree not required; competitive pay, bonus pay, paid vacation, paid holidays, clinic scrubs provided, medical insurance, vision coverage, dental plan. Pay is corresponding with experience.
- Perform preliminary diagnostic testing for eye examinations
- Document patient health history
- Operate ophthalmic equipment and instruments
- Support our two optometrists during exams
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in our electronic health records system
- Previous medical office experience helpful but not required.
