Optometric Assistant at Eagle - EVO

• Assisting optometrists with preliminary tests and examinations.
  
• Preparing patients for their eye exams by taking medical histories and conducting initial screenings.
  
• Performing diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, color perception, depth perception, and peripheral vision tests.
  
• Instructing patients on how to insert, remove, and care for contact lenses.
  
• Maintaining and sanitizing equipment and instruments.
  
• Managing patient records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  
• Providing excellent customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in optometry or ophthalmology, is advantageous but not required.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
  
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week Mon-Fri.
  
• Punctuality and Reliability are required.
