We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care testing services under the direction of the Physicians. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Performing diagnostic tests such as visual field testing and optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Measuring and recording patients' visual acuity and eye pressure
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures and administering eye medications as directed by the ophthalmologist
- Preparing examination rooms and ensuring all equipment is sterilized and operational
- Educating patients on eye care and post-examination procedures.
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Entering patient data into medical records
- Maintaining patient accounts and medical records
- Ensuring safe and sanitary working conditions
- Checking the assembly for quality and accuracy

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent patient care skills and understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with EMR systems
