Role Summary:


The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field operations for Breathe Easy Mold Remediation, ensuring all jobs are completed on time, on budget, and up to our company’s standards. They act as the bridge between the office, field crews, customers, and vendors-driving efficiency, accountability, and results.

Key Responsibilities: Job Execution & Scheduling


· Manage the daily and weekly job schedule in coordination with the office


· Dispatch crews, allocate labor, and adjust staffing as needed


· Ensure all jobs are set up for success: proper materials, equipment, job files, and access


· Conduct job site check-ins to verify containment, cleaning, safety, and quality standards


KPI Tracking & Reporting


· Track crew efficiency, job profitability, customer satisfaction, and rework rates


· Lead weekly production meetings to review completed jobs and upcoming schedule


· Identify bottlenecks, underperformance, or missed opportunities and address them


Crew Management


· Supervise Field Supervisors and Field Technicians


· Handle scheduling changes, callouts, and time-off coordination


· Lead performance reviews and assist with hiring, training, and discipline when necessary


Inventory & Equipment


· Oversee ordering, stocking, and reordering of supplies and PPE


· Maintain and schedule service for trailers, vans, and remediation equipment


· Ensure all gear is clean, working, and returned at end of day


Systems & SOPs


· Implement and enforce field checklists and standard operating procedures


· Ensure Jobber (or CRM) is being used correctly by all crews


· Develop processes for continuous improvement and field training


Customer & Vendor Communication


· Act as point of contact for escalated job issues


· Coordinate specialty vendors (HVAC, dumpsters, etc.) when needed


· Ensure customer satisfaction during and after job execution


Key Outcomes (Success Looks Like):


· 95%+ of jobs completed on time and within scope


· 0 major callbacks due to crew error


· Inventory stocked at all times


· Crews arrive prepared and leave jobsites clean


· Weekly KPIs are reviewed and improved consistently


· Company culture is upheld and techs stay engaged


Skills & Qualifications:


· 3-5 years experience in field operations, construction, or restoration industry


· Strong leadership and communication skills


· Proficient in scheduling, logistics, and project planning


· Tech-savvy (comfortable using CRM like Jobber, Google Drive, Slack, etc.)


· Calm under pressure, highly organized, and solutions-oriented


· IICRC certification (preferred but not required)

Compensation:


$65,000-$85,000/year + bonuses (depending on experience and performance)
