Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operational processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, driving strategic planning, and managing project execution. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on process improvement to maximize profitability and support business development initiatives.

• Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
  
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  
• Oversee project management activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  
• Analyze profit loss statements to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
  
• Supervise team members, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to enhance productivity.
  
• Collaborate with sales teams to align operational capabilities with business development strategies.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining high standards of quality.
  

• Proven experience in operations management or a similar role within a relevant industry.
  
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  
• Excellent strategic planning capabilities with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  
• Demonstrated experience in profit loss analysis and financial management.
  
• Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  
• Proficient in process improvement methodologies; experience with Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
  
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  
• A background in sales or business development is preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Must have 2 years of management experience in transportation.
  
• Must have 2 years of warehouse/cross docking experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
