The Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager and/or Bank Manager; ensuring branch operational activities run efficiently. The Operations Assistant provides guidance and training within the branch and promotes business for the Bank by ensuring a high level of customer service. The position may perform in various capacities, such as Teller, or support the Operations Manager & Bank Manager in fulfilling duties and acts as a liaison between Management and Tellers as appropriate.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Supports Branch efforts to adhere to compliance standards with all bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
  • Supports the Bank Manager and Operations Manager in achieving overall productivity and efficiency of branch operations.
  • Responsible for conducting various bank transactions for customers.
  • Supports the overall productivity and efficiency of branch operations.
  • Supports in upholding regulatory requirements and bank policy and procedures.
  • Assist in training and development of new Tellers.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote new banking services.
  • Completes various reports and analytics as requested.
  • Responsible for supporting bank training as assigned by Bank Manager and Operations Manager.
  • · Supports ensuring satisfactory branch audit results in conjunction with the Bank Management team.
  • · Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • High School Diploma or equivalent .
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • One year of previous experience in the field preferred.
  • This job requires ongoing regulatory training.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization�s facilities. The employee may need to stand or sit for long periods of time.
