The Oiler is responsible assisting the Chief and Watch Engineers with the maintenance and operation of all assigned vessel systems including hydraulics, diesel engines, mechanical and electrical systems. This position is on a non-live aboard Cutter Suction Dredge. The employee must be able to work 8 to 12 hour, rotating shifts. Must be able to pass a post offer physical exam and drug screening. Must be able to provide transportation to and from the jobsite(s). Travel required and will be around 67%.

Must possess a working knowledge of equipment maintenance. Must have ability to give and receive, understand, respond and follow verbal and written communications and instructions. Must be able to communicate, take direction well, and work cooperatively with other colleagues. One year marine experience preferred.
Valid picture identification required.
Valid Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) required.
Qualified Member of the Engine Department (QMED) preferred.
