Offset Feeder 1st Shift

· Pull loads from sheeting for individual jobs

· Troubleshoot and adjust offset press feeder to individual paperboard characteristics

· Assist with all Preventative Maintenance weekly and monthly

· Assist with press washup - removing ink from ink fountains and rollers as necessary

· Move and place empty pallets for production as needed.

· Use EFI Radius for inventory status

· Assist Pressman as needed/required.

· Ensure that equipment and materials used are appropriate quality so as to achieve production schedules and satisfy customer specifications

· Knowing and handling all types of stock.

· Using caliper knowledge to determine the thickness of the board for the double sheet detector.

· Recognizing condition of sheet and alerting operator of bad sheets which may have wrinkles, splices, bent sheets or scraps.

· Ensuring load is in the feed table properly to avoid misguides or downtime.

· Ensuring that the load is square so as it moves down the table it will hit the side guides square up on the automatic pile lifting device.

· Wedging and recognizing condition of stock as in leveling up the load.

· Record quality data in either electronic or hard-copy format as required.

· Able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Able to obtain Level I Material Handling Equipment Certification
  
• High School diploma or equivalent
  
• Score in the 80th percentile or above in the Wiesen Test of Mechanical Aptitude
  
• Ability to read and write English
  
• Mathematics ability

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
