NVH Test Technician - GM Milford

GM has an opening for an NVH Technician to test every vehicle that GM produces and work on all the competitor vehicles. There is a lot of exposure to all of what the auto industry has to offer!

The NVH Technician will support the “Ceiling/splash group†where they hook up an airflow machine to the vehicle through the front windows and measure static body pressure or look for seals that could fail or body leaks that appear. They also support the VHF (Vehicle Handling Facility) group that measure the articulation of the suspension.

• Assigned a work order from the Lead Development Engineering. Work on the issue until it is complete. Record data, report the data and findings
  
• Friday�s is an engineering meeting to go over findings.
  

• Mechanical ability - Working on vehicles; dealership, independent shops, doing interior work, suspension work.
  
• Soft Skills: time management, organizational skills, good teamwork attitude, show up on time and complete tasks with efficiency.
  
• Proactive - not waiting for work to be assigned, but ask for a new assignment when the job is complete.
  
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  
• High School Diploma or GED
