Job Summary

As a Nurse Practitioner in our clinic, you will:


  • Provide direct patient care for individuals with allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, food and environmental allergies, chronic hives, and immune deficiencies.
  • Perform thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide education on allergen avoidance and immunotherapy options.
  • Supervise and collaborate with our infusion center team, ensuring safe and efficient administration of IV therapies, including biologics.
  • Work closely with board-certified allergists and clinical staff in a collaborative, supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct patient assessments and follow-up visits.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, including skin testing and pulmonary function tests.
  • Initiate and manage treatment plans, including immunotherapy.
  • Oversee infusion center operations and provide clinical supervision.
  • Document encounters in the EMR and maintain high standards of care and compliance.


Qualifications


  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland and/or Virginia (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience in allergy, immunology, pulmonology, or primary care preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
