Allergy and Immunology practice, serving communities across Maryland and Northern Virginia. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled NP to enhance our team of professionals committed to excellence in patient care.As a Nurse Practitioner in our clinic, you will:
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, food and environmental allergies, chronic hives, and immune deficiencies.
- Perform thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide education on allergen avoidance and immunotherapy options.
- Supervise and collaborate with our infusion center team, ensuring safe and efficient administration of IV therapies, including biologics.
- Work closely with board-certified allergists and clinical staff in a collaborative, supportive environment.
- Conduct patient assessments and follow-up visits.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including skin testing and pulmonary function tests.
- Initiate and manage treatment plans, including immunotherapy.
- Oversee infusion center operations and provide clinical supervision.
- Document encounters in the EMR and maintain high standards of care and compliance.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland and/or Virginia (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience in allergy, immunology, pulmonology, or primary care preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
