NeoPath Health, Inc., a Minnesota based administrator of employer based medical services, is in search of a nurse manager to work at the Prairie Island Health Center in Welch, MN.


Position Summary

The Nurse Manager is responsible for managing a team of nurses, medical assistants, and medical receptionists at a specific NeoPath Clinical Services location to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality clinical care for our patients. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the daily oversight of the team, workflow management, clinical support, and other duties as assigned. They will lead meetings and provide feedback to the team on the overall success of the nursing team. This position requires a high degree of interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operations of assigned clinic(s) with support of Care Team Manager(s), including team member relations, conflict resolution, compliance, safety, and risk management.
  • Champion of exceptional, patient-focused and culturally sensitive care.
  • Maintains a culture of accountability, collaboration, and trust throughout the clinic that drives team member and patient/client satisfaction.
  • Regularly evaluates team performance and provides coaching and feedback for nurse team members with support from the Care Team Manager(s).
  • Assesses quality improvement processes, lab controls, and monthly inventory completion.
  • Ensures effective and consistent implementation of projects and initiatives.
  • Encourages a positive and team-oriented, patient-centered culture by always displaying NeoPath values.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to nurse team related to daily operational and/or clinical concerns.
  • Supports patient care delivery by assisting health care practitioners and clinical team members in daily clinic functions and patient interactions.
  • Coordinates and maintains organized patient flow; supports clinic nurses and providers with complex patient needs.
  • Enhance clinical and organizational reputation by accepting ownership of new challenges and finding solutions that benefit patient care, client relations, and the clinical team
  • Assist with or conduct nurse team meetings.
  • Coordinate health and wellness events.
  • Attend periodic training sessions and meetings pertinent to position.
  • Assist with interviews, on-boarding, and/or training.
  • Provide clinical support to cover vacation dates upon request.
  • Maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with patients, providers, clinical and corporate team members, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Current RN (Registered Nurse) or NP/PA (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) licensure.
  • Current BLS certificate.
  • Ability to cooperate, collaborate, and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS.

No weekends, evenings, holidays, or after-hours call. Full-time working 40 hours per week (4 10 hour shifts or 5 8 hours shifts) occurring Monday-Friday.
