We are looking for a self-starting, motivated person who excels at building relationships, enjoys sales, marketing, and providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have skills in marketing, management, budgeting, event planning, sales, fundraising, customer service and are comfortable with public speaking and interacting with diverse audiences. A Scouting background is NOT required for the position.
The position serves as the manager of a designated area called a district. This district is based in Cheyenne or Laramie and serves Carbon, Albany, Laramie, Platte, and Goshen Counties. Scouting is sustained and successful through your ability to recruit, promote, supervise, and work with local volunteers in achieving growth in our youth participation and surpassing fundraising objectives.
