Seattle Colleges is looking to hire a Project Baldwin Navigator in the Division for Access, Community, and Opportunity for Project Baldwin

August 19th, 2025.Seattle Colleges, a multi-college district, serves Seattle and its surrounding communities at three comprehensive college campuses and five specialty training centers. Seattle Colleges Project Baldwin Initiatives are made possible by multiple donors committed to advancing a sense of belonging for men of color. Under the guidance of the Division for Access, Community, and Opportunity (ACO) Project Baldwin's mission is to boost completion and transfer outcomes for underserved students of color with a focus on Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Southeast Asian male identified students. Project Baldwin partners with its districtwide leadership Advisory Board to build capacity to support students with achieving academic and career goals. One of Project Baldwin's core deliverables is to provide one-on-one mentorship at each of the three Seattle Colleges campuses with a peer, staff, faculty, alumni, or industry mentor. Participants may be in any of several study tracks: an associate degree (with or without intent to transfer), one of the College's growing number of applied baccalaureate programs, a registered Apprenticeship, or another professional credential.
Under the supervision of the Project Baldwin Director, the Project Baldwin Navigator will provide general advising and college navigation services for students served by the program's mission to boost completion and transfer outcomes and create a sense of belonging on each campus.
