kupuna (elders) and to make a difference in the lives of others by providing compassionate, quality care.We seek
Nurse Aides (NA) for a full time schedule (flexible for day, evening, night shifts) to assist the Nursing Department with the supervision, health status observation, daily activities and care of kupuna. Ability to work a flexible schedule is preferred- Assists in kupuna admissions, transfers and discharges. Obtains and records vital signs.
- Assists kupuna with meal. Assists with before and after meal care. Transports kupuna to and from dinning area. Help residents with their belongings
- Support kupuna in daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
- Assists in providing a safe and sanitary environment for kupuna (e.g. changes bed linen when necessary)
- Perform specialized therapy and range of motion exercise/activities
- Current TB/First Aid/CPR and BLS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- 6 months related experience and/or training in geriatric or long term care (preferred)
