We’re hiring a full-time

Multifamily Lending Officer for our Multifamily Housing Division.

As a Multifamily Lending Officer, you’ll be a key contributor to NH Housing’s multifamily financing programs, helping to advance our mission of creating and preserving affordable housing throughout the Granite State. In this role, you will:

• Review, underwrite, and administer project funding applications for NH Housing financing programs including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Tax Exempt Bonds, Supportive Housing initiatives, and other funding sources as available.
  
• Determine project feasibility by analyzing third party reports, development costs, and rental income. Analyze proposed project operating budgets for long term economic feasibility.
  
• Monitor and enforce compliance with the various funding source requirements from the federal and state government as well as NH Housing policy.
  
• Serve as primary point of contact for developers and guide them through the full project funding cycle. Represent NH Housing�s interests when collaborating with external parties.
  

During the initial training period you will be expected to work in the office. Intermittent remote work available after that time.

Your experience, skills, and education should include:

• Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
  
• Basic proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ability to learn new software systems, as needed.
  
• Knowledge and understanding of State and Federal financing tools and resources that support the creation and preservation of Affordable Housing.
  
• Ability to review and analyze financial documents and budgets for underwriting of projects.
  
• Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Three years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Experience in financial services, accounting, or administration preferred.

Starting Pay: $70,900 - $88,500, dependent on relevant experience
