Braswell Precision, a small but highly specialized machine shop located in Glen Burnie, MD, is currently seeking an experienced
Multi-Spindle Lathe Machinist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team working on high-precision components for the aerospace industry.- Operate lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and enhance production workflows.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with tooling, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
