Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

Shift: M-F 8am to 4:30pm with some weekend plant checks

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll help maintain and repair equipment, systems, and the facility itself, keeping everything in top shape so we can continue to deliver excellence to our customers.

You'll work closely with the maintenance team and leadership to complete daily tasks, perform inspections, and support the overall safety and operation of the site.

• Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs on machinery, equipment, and the building
  
• Support with repairs and maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems
  
• Inspect and complete basic maintenance on refrigeration systems (Ammonia, Freon, CO2)
  
• Maintain material handling equipment (like forklifts or pallet jacks) to keep everything running safely
  
• Complete maintenance logs and communicate daily updates to leadership
  
• Assist with facility upkeep, including the physical structure and exterior areas
  
• Use tools such as welders, cutting torches, and lift equipment as needed
  
• Other related tasks as assigned
  

• At least 1 year of experience in building, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance-or a combination of experience and trade school
  
• Comfortable using power and hand tools
  
• Basic knowledge of computer systems for logging work and reporting
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
  
• Willingness to work in a range of temperatures (cold storage as low as -20°F or dry storage up to 100°F)
  
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. (may vary by location)
  
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends if needed
  
• Comfortable working around noise and at heights (varies by location)
