PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) MRI Technologist to join our compassionate and collaborative imaging team. This is a Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM-7:00 PM day shift role, offering stability, growth, and the chance to work in a Level II Trauma Center known for excellence and innovation.

What You’ll Do


As an MRI Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Performing routine and specialized MRI procedures
  • Preparing exam rooms and equipment to meet physician and patient needs
  • Educating and supporting patients before and after exams
  • Collaborating with physicians to optimize imaging based on patient history
  • Ensuring safety by applying ACR MR safety guidelines
  • Participating in quality control and continuous improvement efforts


What You’ll Bring


We’re looking for someone who is technically skilled, patient-focused, and eager to grow. Ideal candidates will have:


  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or equivalent
  • ARRT certification in Radiography, MRI, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine (or eligibility)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Venipuncture competency
  • Knowledge of PACS/RIS systems and MRI terminology
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Applicant must be currently registry-eligible and/or currently participating in the SW Advanced Imaging cross training program.
  • ARRT (MR) certification is required within 6 months of hire.
