As the
RN Unit Coordinator, you will serve as a key clinical leader on the Mother Baby Unit, supporting both staff and patients while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. You’ll balance bedside nursing with leadership responsibilities-guiding workflow, mentoring peers, and helping ensure high-quality, compassionate care for every patient.- Coordinating daily unit operations and nursing care delivery
- Assisting with staff scheduling, onboarding, and mentoring
- Serving as a clinical resource and problem-solver
- Leading by example with patient advocacy and evidence-based care
- Supporting continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives
- BSN required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or a compact state
- Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience (Medical-Surgical experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership potential
- A passion for mentoring, leading teams, and delivering excellent patient care
