The Drywall Line Worker will secure (hang) drywall panels to the interior of residential units and will prepare the drywall for painting or finishing during the production of a prefabricated unit. The Drywall Line Worker may specialize in either hanging or finishing or may do both when necessary. The Drywall Line Worker is not authorized to sign the QC/QA signature areas of a checklist.
· Measures and cuts drywall panels to fit in and around specific spaces such as doors, windows, electrical outlets, and lighting fixtures.
· Installs drywall panels to wood studs.
· Uses drywall compound to fill in and cover joints, screws, nails, and other imperfections.
· Sands joint compound once dry and applies drywall tape.
· Creates textured surfaces when requested.
· Assists in loading, unloading, layout, and preparing tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed to produce units.
· Operate hand and power tools, cranes, and other material handling devices in a safe manner.
· Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision.
· Ensure product specification and product quality by following established procedures, SOP’s, maintaining proper settings, and quality standards.
· Adjust machine/equipment performance to meet product specifications and quality standards.
· Troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and product for reason(s) that product is out of quality or specification standards or if improper/inoperable machine/equipment operation.
· May assist workers in other stations as required.
· Understand and follow InteliFab’s quality standards as laid out in the Quality Assurance Manual.
· Understand the production process and be able to look ahead and behind in the process to understand potential bottlenecks and take preventative action.
· Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
· Follows established safety procedures including use of personal protective equipment to minimize exposure to hazards.
· Alerts other employees or supervisor immediately of any apparent or developing hazards. Take appropriate action in the event of a work site accident or incident.
· Climb up to 15 ft, install or repair equipment in a variety of environments.
· Perform site clean-up as needed and other job duties as assigned.

· High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
· Bilingual applicants (written and verbal) potentially qualify for increased merit pay.
· Six months of experience preferred in construction, skilled labor or other related work environments involving carpentry, drywall, framing, painting, plumbing, roofing, etc.
· Ability to measure and cut drywall to fit in specific spaces.
· Ability to use hand tools and power tools required for installing drywall.
· Demonstrate willingness to develop hanging and taping skills under the instructions of experienced supervisors.

· Must be able to maintain visual and audible contact with other workers and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.
· Must be able to work and interface in a warehouse environment frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
· Loud noise level in the work environment associated with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
· Must be able to work while wearing safety glasses, and any applicable safety gear.
