Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at Crete-Monee Middle School. As a Math Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment and delivering high-quality instruction to students. You will play a key role in helping students develop their science skills and achieve academic success.

Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
  
• Teach various mathematical concepts
  
• Use effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process
  
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with different learning needs
  
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
  
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration
  
• Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance instruction and student learning
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the math curriculum
  
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in math education
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education
  
• Valid Illinois teaching license (PEL) or out-of-state license in Math
  
• Strong knowledge of science concepts and principles
  
• Proficiency in using learning technology and educational software
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
  
• Strong organizational skills for planning lessons and assessing student progress

Pay: $48,131.00 - $83,366.00 per year
