Be your own boss! We are looking for short-run and long-haul couriers with a valid driver's license to work independently as courier drivers. Your job will be to safely recover packages from our client locations and drive them to a scheduled destination, over intercity routes, in a timely manner. Part-time and full-time work available.
Responsibilities:
Transport shipment in a time-effective manner.
Account for, and adapt to, unexpected situations like weather conditions and traffic.
Keep proper logs at pickup from delivery locations and drop-off, following all company, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain reliable transportation; report all mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety procedures.
Observe and report all defects, accidents, and violations.
Adhere to company guidelines while interacting with customers and serving as a brand advocate.
Requirements:
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Possesses a valid driver's license.
- Must have valid car insurance.
- 1-year experience in driving commercially - preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to travel with regularity
- Professional appearance, clean clothing, proper attire.
- No DUI.
