Our 6 Provider practice is looking for a dedicated full-time or part time Medical Assistant to handle rotation among the 5 Physicians and 1 Physician Assistant. When our patients walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and extremely organized.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Greet patients and take vitals
- Take patient history
- Enter patient information into our electronic medical record system.
- Schedule imaging and surgeries as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing faxes
- Triage patient phone messages correctly and promptly
- Clean patient exam rooms and instruments
Requirements:
- Excellent multitasking skills required
- Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner required
- 1+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant required
- Completed a certified Medical Assistant program.
- High school diploma accepted
- Bilingual preferred
- Work 5 days a week. (No weekends)
- Travel between all three offices required (Branford, New Haven, and North Haven)
