Sheperd Integrative Dermatology is hiring medical assistants to join our Mt. Pleasant-based team. As part of our clinical team, this position will maintain our core values and provide patient care services including but not limited the following:
- Provide direct assistance to physicians with surgical and cosmetic procedures such as excisions, biopsies, reviewing labs, Phlebotomy, cosmetic services etc.
- Perform clinic duties including instrument sterilization and processing, specimen handling
- Triage phone calls
- Biopsy log management and calling patients with results
- Prepare exam rooms for daily clinic activities i.e. clean, organize and stock rooms with necessary equipment and supplies, turn on lasers/equipment, etc.
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
- Maintain patient flow
This full-time is Monday-Friday, 32-40 hrs a week, day shifts only (no nights, weekends or holidays). Compensation varies and is based on experience.
