We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and project management, with a focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role will involve designing, testing, and overseeing the production of mechanical systems and components, while leveraging your PE stamp to approve engineering designs and documentation.

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for manufacturing processes, ensuring functionality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
  
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation, applying PE stamp as required for Ohio regulatory compliance.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution.
  
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation, troubleshooting issues to meet performance standards.
  
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, and other relevant industry standards, as well as Ohio state regulations.
  
• Manage projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and manufacturing staff.
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  

• Bachelor�s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Ohio.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
  
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical systems design.
  
• Knowledge of Ohio building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  
• Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, or CNC machining.
  
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
