Tuff Tube Transition / Viking Vessel Holdings is a leader in the boiler manufacturing industry, known for innovative solutions and high-quality products. We are growing our team and are looking for a talented
Engineer with experience in SolidWorks, FEA analysis, and technical drawings to join us at our Cisco, TX facility.What You’ll Do:
- Design and modify detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering assessments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet customer and regulatory standards
- Work on boiler system designs with a focus on efficiency, safety, and compliance
- Support projects throughout their entire lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and drawings
- Familiarity with FEA tools (preferably ANSYS) for simulations (pressure vessel, thermal, fatigue)
- Knowledge of drafting principles per ANSI Y14.5
- Basic understanding of welding procedures and symbols (preferred)
- Understanding of ASME codes (Section I, II, V, VIII)
- Boiler industry experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Texas PE license is a plus, or ability to obtain upon hire
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting base salary: $75,000-$125,000 per year (based on experience)
