Material Prep

Overview

Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read tickets and/or labels to properly pull the required components necessary for building door(s) correctly
  
• Pulling materials to run through machines
  
• Machining and applying weather strip
  
• Activate machine cycle to machine the jamb
  
• Remove the jamb from the machine and start the weather- stripping process
  
• Stocking finished product
  
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Use tape measure, saw operation, operate hinge vega machine, latch vega, DTI vega
  
• Ability to lift to 50+ lbs frequently
  
• Maintain a well-organized work area
  
• Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service
  
• Follow all operational and safety SOP�s as written
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred not required
  
• Previous work experience in a production environment, preferred
