Manufacturing Technician II

About the Role:


Join our Operations team where you’ll play a vital role in assembling mechanical and electrical systems designed for military and government use. You'll follow detailed production guidelines to ensure each build meets our high standards for quality and precision.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components using digital work instructions.
  • Build assemblies down to the component level, including cable harnesses and structural parts.
  • Execute functional tests on completed products in accordance with documented test procedures.
  • Perform soldering, desoldering, and rework on various assemblies.
  • Conduct self-inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Recommend updates to process documentation using Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
  • Adhere strictly to ESD safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Accurately log production activity using Shop Floor Insight software.
  • Take on additional production-related duties as required.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of two years� hands-on experience in electronics assembly.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscope operation is preferred.
  • Skilled in soldering (IPC-610 and J-STD-001 certifications are advantageous).
  • Capable of diagnosing issues and performing basic troubleshooting.
  • Able to read and interpret electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a group.

  • Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.


Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally (about 20% of the time).
  • Will be required to move around the facility roughly 75% of the time.
  • Ability to kneel and perform tasks at low levels up to 20% of the time.
  • Must maintain visual focus for detailed tasks 100% of the time.
  • Must communicate clearly and effectively with others 100% of the time.
  • Frequent use of hands for tool handling and computer work is expected.
  • May be required to remain seated or in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
