Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Recycling facility Supervisor to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of production workers, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to implement best practices in manufacturing to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.


Duties


  • Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance, logistics, and supply chain, to optimize production workflows.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members and provide constructive feedback.


Skills


  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to team members and management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software systems for tracking production metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
